SAECC Turns 50!

In 2022, St. Albans Early Childhood Center (SAECC) will celebrate 50 years of serving families and positively impacting youth in the Washington, DC metropolitan area! We are celebrating all year with our entire community, past, present and future. We will have events and fundraisers throughout the year to benefit SAECC initiatives, including our scholarship and emergency assistance programs.

Outdoor Golden Jubilee

Join us on Saturday April 30 at 7:00PM on the back patio for an outdoor garden party to celebrate SAECC’s 50 years with food, friends and music. Tickets are $75 each or $125 per couple. Childcare will be available, please check back for details.

Silent Auction

Our 50th Anniversary Silent Auction will go live on April 30th. Check out the auction to bid on a trip to legoland, a week in Dewey Beach, items from your favorite neighborhood stores and restaurants and more! Please consider donating items big and small! Fill out this silent auction item google form by April 15th to donate an item! Silent Auction proceeds will fund scholarships and tuition assistance for SAECC staff and community members.

Scholarships

SAECC is committed to diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging in our students, families, staff, teachers and community. That’s why we are raising an ambitious $50,000 for scholarships and emergency assistance grants to help ensure that families in our community have access to the excellent childcare provided at SAECC. These programs are designed to complement existing federal, state and local programs by filling in gaps and expanding opportunities to reach families that still need assistance.
