An important component of St. Albans Early Childhood Center (SAECC) is the Parents Association. The purpose of the SAECC Parents Association (the “PA”) is to facilitate cooperation and communication between SAECC and its parent body.  The PA seeks to accomplish its purpose by:
1) providing a framework for parents to support and be involved in SAECC;
2) acting as a liaison between the SAECC board/administration and the parents; and
3) fostering a SAECC parent community.
The PA Steering Committee oversees the activities of the PA, and consists of the PA Officers, the PA Committee Chairs, the SAECC Executive Director, and a representative from the SAECC Teachers Association.  As a member of the SAECC community, all parents/guardians automatically are members of the PA.
Recognizing that parents are very busy, yet want to be involved in the school community, the PA seeks to create volunteer opportunities to accommodate busy schedules.
